Waterloo Region May 2026 Statistics - home sales increased 9.8% month-over-month.
The number of newly listed properties increased by 3.9% on a month-over-month basis.
In Kitchener-Waterloo, the MLSยฎ Home Price Index (HPI) was $649,200 in May 2026, a decrease of 0.2% month-over-month and a 6.5 % decline on a year-over-year basis. In Cambridge, the HPI was $676,100, which was a 1.4% decrease month-over-month and a drop of 7.2% on a year-over-year basis.
The supply of inventory across the market decreased 9.1% on a year-over-year basis, and there was a 4.0-month supply of all property types by the end of May, which was 4.8% lower than in May 2025.
