It feels like the right time to reintroduce myself.
If you’re new here—or if it’s been a while—hello! I’m Belinda.
I’m Korean-Canadian, born in Edmonton and raised in Toronto. I’m a wife of nearly 14 years, a mom to an incredible daughter who’s about to turn six, and someone who’s spent the better part of two decades helping people become stronger—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
My career has taken me on some incredible adventures.
I’ve worked as a personal trainer, strength and conditioning coach, yoga instructor, gym owner, IFBB Pro Fitness Model, Canadian Champion, magazine cover model, and Top 12 finalist at Miss Universe Canada.
Later, I spent nearly five years in Mexico developing fitness brands and wellness programming for luxury resorts across Mexico and the Caribbean.
But as many of us know, life isn’t defined only by our résumés.
I’ve survived a serious car accident that required a long road to recovery. I’ve experienced pregnancy loss, burnout, and profound grief after losing my dad last year. Becoming a mother changed me in ways I never expected, and navigating those experiences reshaped both who I am and how I lead.
Those seasons taught me that strength isn’t just built in the gym—it’s built through resilience, adaptability, and the willingness to keep moving forward, even when life looks nothing like you planned.
Motherhood ultimately led me back to coaching with a deeper purpose: helping women rebuild their confidence, strength, energy, and sense of self.
More recently, I’ve also returned to another passion that quietly waited for me all these years—storytelling through acting. It’s reminded me that it’s never too late to pursue the parts of yourself you’ve set aside.
Looking back, my journey has been filled with reinvention—building businesses, moving countries, buying and selling homes, rebuilding after setbacks, and discovering new versions of myself along the way.
Every chapter has taught me something valuable.
If there’s one lesson I carry with me, it’s this:
Don’t leave the best parts of yourself behind.
You’re allowed to evolve.
You’re allowed to start over.
You’re allowed to grieve and still find joy again.
You’re allowed to pursue the dream that keeps calling your name—even if it looks different than you imagined.
Growth isn’t always linear, but it’s always possible.
Here’s to embracing every season of becoming.
I’d love to know: What chapter of life or career are you in right now?
