What a day.

May 7th — it’s my birthday, and I just made it onto the Forbes 30 Under 30 Slovakia list.

I’ve been reading Forbes since I was 12 or 13, and seeing my name on this list today feels surreal. I’m truly proud to be among such brilliant individuals. It’s been a pleasure getting to know a few of them already — Slovakia may be small, but we’re not short on world-class talent.

I’m super grateful for the early believers — our investors, our users, and the team behind GRAET.

2023 was crazy! 😳

💍 Started with sleepless night as I was mentally preparing for ,,the’’ question 😂 I carried the ring during our traveling for 3 months in my pocket and I hoped the airport security won’t ruin the plan. Luckily Dadka was clueless until the last minute…

📃 We closed our investment after 18 months 🫠 Hell of a ride itself…
Week in closing, I went to Prague, slept in the car on gas station and I said I am not coming back to Bratislava until we close the deal. We closed it the next day 🚀

💒 We got the paperwork(married). Crazy. We knew we are moving to US so for our convince we decided to get legaly married. Wedding is not our priority any soon because once it will happen, it’s gonna be something C-R-A-Z-Y. No capacity($$$) for something like that right know 😂

🚗 We slept 30 days in the car and made over 10 000km around the Europe. Stadium-to-Stadium, User-to-User. Met a bunch of graet people!

🇨🇦 4 years we came to Toronto to start a new life, now we are back here to kickstart 2024. Since we are “all year summer” people - moving to Austin, Texas soon 🇺🇸

We have successfully closed a pre-seed investment round with major CEE funds. On the same day, we officially incorporated. What a GRAET start!
