Julie’s journey is way more than physical.

If you haven’t met Julie, she has seen incredible success but the journey hasn’t been easy.

In her own words, she has tried everything and anything and it has always been a lifetime
struggle for her. Still, that didn’t stop her from starting a program with me to get her fitness and
confidence levels to where she wants them to be.

One of my favourite parts of working with Julie to this point has been watching her grow into a
leader in our client community, never missing a single check-in, she would always tell me “I
hope the others don’t think I am annoying as hell lol”.

This woman ROCKS!

More often than not, it is not about not having time, it is about priorities. I am not saying that time constraints are not a thing, but more often than not, that little time that people have, they rather spend it on doom scrolling or watching TV, which again, nothing wrong with watching TV, but if you are watching TV at the expense of not meal prepping or skipping the gym, then you know it is not time, it is you!

Major throwback Thursday, to probably the highlight of my career with Orangetheory. I can honestly say that 2023 was magical for me and for our studio. All those crazy hours worked, visiting different studios, sometimes driving up to an hour to visit different locations, coaching at different studios (at times for free) to improve my craft paid off. When I started working for York Mills and Leslie, as a confident 22 year old, I told Sam that I was going to become the best coach to have ever coached at Orangetheory and that we were going to be on the map with the best of the best. Fast forward 5 years later and:

✅Hit 3500 classes
✅Top 3 in the world
✅First coach outside of the US to be on that top 3
✅Coached at OTF’s worldwide convention
✅First bilingual coach to ever coach at convention
✅Named twice as the standard of excellence for coaching in Canada

Apart from all of that, I got to meet amazing people, made new friends & travel across North America. When I joined OTF, I had never imagined how much it would change my life for the better. Words can’t describe how much I owe this place.

Have I become the best coach to have ever done it? I do not know, but there is nobody better than me……IYKYK ;)

Change doesn’t happen when life gets easier. It happens when you decide you deserve better.

When J came to us, he was not really happy with how things were going for him. He was going through some personal issues, reached an all-time low with how he felt, and he decided that it was enough. He needed to do something. As a single parent, he wanted to set an example for his two kids.

One of the main challenges was figuring things out with his schedule because of his shift work. Although it was not easy, we managed to make it work and create systems that fit his lifestyle and work hours. Communication was key in order for this to work. Adjusting meal timings, gym timing, and movement throughout the day became the key to his success.

The biggest lesson? You do not need perfect circumstances to change your life. You just need the willingness to start, stay consistent and keep showing up even on the hard days.

You deserve the good things in life.
But are you investing in the thing that matters most?

I’m all for treating yourself. Go buy the bag, take the trip, enjoy your money. You work hard for it.
BUT when you’re tired, unhappy with how you feel, uncomfortable in your own skin, and know something needs to change… your health can’t keep coming last.

Luxury is nice. But feeling strong, energized, healthy, and confident in your own body is the real upgrade.

Your health is not an expense.
It’s an investment in your quality of life.
