The Tofino Saltwater Classic fishing derby was created by the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Brendan Morrison as a fundraiser for Tofino community initiatives.

Tofino Saltwater Classic Ball Hockey 2026🏒🎣

What an incredible morning spent on the court with these amazing kids. Seeing their smiles, laughter, and love for the game is what this event is all about.

The best part? Because of the generosity of our community, these kids get opportunities to play, grow, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, volunteered, and made today so special. Watching these young athletes have fun alongside Brendan Morrison and friends was something we’ll never forget.

Here’s to another unforgettable year of hockey, community, and giving back. ❤️🏒
