With our community focused on helping one another and with ongoing uncertainty surrounding road conditions and flooding impacts, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Laura Poole Memorial Jamboree scheduled for Saturday, June 13.

While we were looking forward to welcoming teams to Swan River, the safety of our athletes, families, volunteers, and travelling teams must come first.

Thank you to all of the coaches, players, parents, sponsors, and volunteers who support this event each year. Most importantly, thank you to the many people throughout our community who are helping neighbours, friends, farms, businesses, and families during this challenging time.

Please stay safe and continue to look out for one another. The Swan Valley has always come together in times of need, and we know that spirit will carry us forward.

All Swan Valley Elite Softball activities are cancelled for Tuesday, June 9.

Devastation from the recent flooding has impacted homes, farms, businesses, and roads throughout our region. At this time, our focus is on the safety of our athletes, families, coaches, and community members.

Please be safe, help your neighbours where you can, and keep those affected in your thoughts. The Swan Valley has always come together in times of need, and we know our community will continue to support one another through this difficult situation.

Please stay safe and take care of yourselves and your families. Our thoughts are with everyone in our community during this difficult time as rising waters continue to impact homes, properties, and roads throughout the area.

Last weekend, our U15 teams headed to the Ste. Rose Tournament and came ready to compete!

Team 1 opened the tournament with a strong 12–6 victory over Roblin. In their second game, they battled hard, but came up just one run short against Neepawa. The two teams met again in the semifinal, and despite another great effort, Team 1 fell by just two runs. Neepawa went on to win the tournament, showing just how competitive those games were.

We are incredibly proud of the growth, determination, and teamwork these girls have.The scores may not always go our way, but great things are happening on the field, and the hard work is paying off.

Tomorrow, Team 1 heads to Neepawa for another tournament. Good luck, girls!…..well Mother Nature had other plans and we were cancelled.

Next action for ALL ages will be the Laura Poole Memorial Jamboree in Swan River, June 13th. Stay tuned for more details.

It’s a GREAT weekend of ball in Swan River!

On Saturday, May 30th, come cheer on the Swan Valley Royals U13 & U15 Baseball teams as they hit the diamond! ⚾ Swan Valley Minor Baseball

Then head back to Legion Park on Sunday, May 31st to catch the Swan Valley Elite U11 & U13 Softball girls take on the Ste. Rose Stingers! 🥎

🕐 Game Time: 1:00 PM on Sunday

Come out and support our local athletes for a fun-filled weekend of ball!

*U15 has travelled to Ste.Rose for a tournament so wish them luck!*
