Our time together has come to an end, and honestly, it’s hard not to get a little emotional thinking back on everything. These boys… what a group. They weren’t just a team on the ice, they were a community, they were a family. Always supporting each other, holding each other accountable, cheering each other on, and somehow always finding a smile through every hard practice, late night, and long, icy drive.
They gave everything they had, every single game, every single shift, and it showed. Tied for first in the league, yes, but the wins aren’t what this season will be remembered for. It’s the heart, the laughter, the teamwork, and the way they looked out for one another.
Shout out to our goalies, Evan and Braden. You worked hard every game and never gave up on the boys in front of you, you both were a big part of every win and every close game.
To our incredible coaches — Justin, Parker, Kendall, Craig, and Cam. Thank you for more than just teaching hockey. Thank you for believing in these boys, for pushing them to be their best, for showing them the value of teamwork, hard work, and sportsmanship. Your guidance, patience, and passion have made this season unforgettable, and you’ve left a mark on these boys that will last far beyond the ice.
And of course to our manager Pam, for keeping everything running behind the scenes and always making sure the boys and coaches had what they needed. We couldn’t have done it without you.
There were tears shed as the season came to a close… because endings are hard when something this special has touched your heart. But as A.A. Milne said “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
Oh, what a season it was. What a group of boys. What memories we’ll never forget. ❤️
