⚽ RAIN CITY SELECTS WEEKEND | SEPT 24-27 | KGV ⚽

We’ve been getting a ton of questions about our travel teams and tryouts — here’s your answer.

Boys born 2012-2015: this is your shot to compete for a spot on our spring European travel teams. Selects Weekend puts you through 5 hours of hands-on coaching and 4 competitive 9v9 games, all in one weekend at KGV.

Invitations to join the travel program go out following the event. If your son is ready to be pushed, tested, and evaluated against real competition — this is where it starts.

Rain City Selects is coming this fall — an invitation-only weekend, September 24–27 at King George V Field in St. John’s, for players born in 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2015.

Over four days, players train and compete on a dedicated team with a Rain City coach: 5 hours of coached training, 4 competitive matches, video and tactical review, and one-on-one feedback. Every player leaves with written developmental feedback, a full Rain City Selects kit, and a clearer picture of their game.

Selects also plays a role in Rain City’s player-identification process — helping our staff spot players for future opportunities like the Academy, Open Training, and future Selects teams.

Spots are limited, and Selects is invitation only. Think we missed you by mistake?

A special opportunity for one of our own 👏⚽️!

We’re proud to share that Rain City athlete Louis Winter was invited to train on trial with CF Montreal from June 30th - July 5th.

This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to Louis’ hard work, commitment, and passion for the game. Opportunities like this don’t happen overnight, and we’re proud to have been a part of his development.

Congratulations, Louis! We’re excited to see where your journey takes you next, and we know this is only the beginning.
