Just got back from Las Vegas, and Memphis McIntosh is already on the move again.

Next stop: Oklahoma.

In July, he’ll join his Team Canada teammates at the three-day Rival Tournament, competing in the Youth 55 kg division against some of the best young boxers in North America.

And the journey doesn’t stop there.

This year alone, Memphis has represented our club and our country in Montreal, Thailand, Texas, Las Vegas, Ontario, and now Oklahoma. In August, he’s scheduled to face the U.S. National Champion in California. He was also expected to travel to Hungary and is currently on the list for the World Tournament.

That’s what happens when talent, dedication, and opportunity come together.

At The Boxing Club Spruce Grove, our first goal is building better people. Our second goal is building champions. We believe that if an athlete is willing to do the work, make the sacrifices, and stay committed to the process, then it’s our job to help open the doors.

Here’s a little secret… motivation is overrated. 💪

The people who reach their goals aren’t always motivated—they just start.

Give yourself 10 minutes. That’s it.

🏋️ Start the workout.
🥗 Prep one healthy meal.
🚶 Go for a short walk.
💧 Fill your water bottle.

If after 10 minutes you still want to quit, you can.

But more often than not, once you’ve started, you’ll keep going.

Small actions create momentum. Momentum creates consistency. Consistency creates results.

This month, challenge yourself to focus on the basics:

✅ 3L of water every day
