What a great weekend of swimming. The Hammerheads swam some great races and proved what a small club can bring to a big meet. Congrats goes to all 7 of our swimmers who gave it their all. Big shout out to our coaches Trent and Kay for their dedication to our swimmers all season long. Below is a quick recap

Oliver and Anna competed in their first Regionals and should be proud of their efforts. Oliver finished with a 10th in the 50 Free and dropped times in all races while Anna had a great weekend dropping times and finishing 12th in the 100 back.Amazing results for first regionals 👏👏👏

Chloe and Cara continued their great season and finished strong - Chloe earning 2 -3rds 🥉in the 50 back and 200 back with an OSC qualifying time 👀while Cara showed she is a threat in many strokes finishing 6th in the 50fly 100 free and 7th in the 50 breast. Great job 👏 ladies amazing season- can’t wait to see what you girls got next year.

Elle, Aliya and Nigel represented our 13 and overs and also showed that all their hard work is paying off. Aliya earned a 6th in the 50 free and 8th in 100 fly , Nigel dropped times all weekend and finished with 10th in the 800 free and 11th in the 50 breast. Elle put in some great swims earning a 15th in the 50fly and 200 back. Great job representing our team putting in some great swims.👏👏👏

As the season winds down we should be proud of all of our Hammerheads accomplishments this season, many new swimmers, new swim meets and new races - even with a extended pool closure we showed up and proved what a strong team we are becoming - the years ahead look 👀 very promising

The big weekend is here and the Hammerheads are ready to compete. We are thrilled to say that we have 7 Hammerheads competing this weekend at the Western Region Long Course Championships. Best of Luck to Aliya, Oliver, Nigel, Anna, Elle, Cara and Chloe as they head to Windsor to compete against the best swimmers in the region. We are proud of all your hard-work and know that our club is well represented. This is Oliver and Anna’s first regionals and we are excited to see their times drop 👏👏👏🏊🏊‍♀️ GO HAMMERHEADS 🏊‍♀️
