I am happy to announce that in the spring of 2014 we will be starting the first season of Shelburne Minor Softball. We will be entering the Bluewater Minor Softball Association, based out of Dundalk. This is a fun, competitive, co-ed travel league which includes the following towns,
Badjeros,
Dundalk,
Eugenia,
Feversham,
Hopeville,
Markdale,
Singhampton,
Nottawa,
Priceville. We hope to be
able to field teams or multiple teams in the following divisions,
T-ball,
Tyke,
Mite,
Sq**rt,
PeeWee,
Bantam,
Midget. We are excited to be bringing back fastball to the town and welcome everybody to come out and enjoy the great game that is making an explosive come back in towns across not only our nearby communities but all of Ontario. We will be needing coaches, assistants, helpers, and umpires for all divisions. There will be clinics for coaches and umpires for all interested, and volunteer hrs given to high school graduates who help out. Registration will take place early spring, and we hope that all interested don't hesitate to do so, no experience needed. I will be posting the registration dates and fees as soon as possible.
