Congratulations on the home team Predators for taking home gold. The game ended in a 0-0 tie after both goalies Brooklyn Lang (Predators) and Cynthia Moon (Twins) shut the door. First round of the shootout saw Ciel Edwards (Predators) and Emily Leclair (Twins) open the scoring. Second round the Predator's Brooklyn Surminski scored to put her team in front. Predators Brooklyn Lang continued her stellar play stopping the next two shooters to bring the Predators the gold medal.

We would like to congratulate the Twins on a great tournament and amazing final game that kept all the fans on the edge of their seats.

Huge shout out to all the Predators and Twins families who came out to support the girls this weekend. Without your support the smiles and happy faces do not happen.

We would like to congratulate our Bronze medalist winners, the Central Plains Capitals. It was a hard fought game between the Central Plains Capitals U13AA and the Interlake Lightning Female U13 AA. The Lightning took an early lead with a goal from Cooper Darragh. Capitals answered back with two goals from Brynnae Willsey to take the lead in the third. With only minutes left in the game, Kahlie Minnie ripped a rocket into the net to tie the game, sending it to the shootout. Capital's Brynnae Willsey scored the shootout winner to take the bronze medal.

We would like to thank both the Capitals and Lightning families for all their support of the girls over the weekend. Your dedication to these girls hopefully has created memories they'll remember for a life time.
