SNCC’s Unbeaten Run Continues – 5 Matches Strong in SCA Div-2🏆🏆

Scarborough Nepali Cricket Club (SNCC) continued their impressive unbeaten streak in SCA Division 2, making it 4 wins and 1 Washout due to rain from five matches with another commanding performance. Batting first, SNCC posted a competitive total of 162/9, built around aggressive contributions from Naresh Bahadur Budhayer (42) and Prabesh Malla (38).

Defending the target, SNCC’s bowlers once again stole the show. Anmol Shrestha delivered a match-winning spell, claiming 4 wickets for just 10 runs, while Prabesh Malla chipped in with two wickets. Their disciplined bowling attack restricted Eelam Boys to 130 all out, sealing a convincing 32-run victory.

The result highlights SNCC’s balanced strength in both batting and bowling, as they remain one of the standout teams in the competition. With momentum, confidence, and teamwork driving their success, SNCC’s unbeaten journey now extends to five consecutive victories, firmly establishing them as serious contenders for the SCA Div-2 title. 🏏🔥

Scarborough Nepali Cricket Club (SNCC) is honored to welcome former Nepal National Team wicketkeeper-batsman Mahesh Chhetri into our cricket family.

Mahesh Chhetri brings an impressive legacy of international experience, having represented Nepal at the U-15, U-19, and senior national levels. He has been an important figure in Nepal’s cricket journey, including being part of the historic ICC World Twenty20 era.

One of his standout achievements came in 2015, when he was named Player of the Tournament in Nepal’s National One Day Cricket Tournament. A true reflection of his skill, consistency, and match-winning ability.

His leadership, experience, and dedication to the game will be a huge inspiration for our players and the wider Nepali-Canadian cricket community.

स्कारबोरो नेपाली क्रिकेट क्लब (एसएनसीसी) ले स्कारबरो क्रिकेट एसोसिएसन (SCA) टी–२० दोस्रो डिभिजनमा आफ्नो अपराजित यात्रा कायम राखेको छ।

टर्नाडो क्लबविरुद्धको खेलमा एसएनसीसीले २९ रनको जित निकाल्यो। पहिले ब्याटिङ गरेको एसएनसीसीले २० ओभरमा ५ विकेट गुमाएर १९५ रन बनाएको थियो। जवाफमा टर्नाडो ८ विकेटको क्षतिमा १६६ रनमै सीमित भयो।

एसएनसीसीका लागि नेपालका पुर्व राष्ट्रिय खेलाडि नरेश बहादुर बुढाऐरले ७२ बलमा १३१ रनको विस्फोटक शतकीय इनिङ्स खेले। सप्निल अधिकारिले ३२ रनको योगदान दिए। बलिङतर्फ आकाशले ३ विकेट लिए भने प्रबेश मल्ल र जुपिटर वाग्लेले समान २–२ विकेट हात पारे।

यस जितसँगै एसएनसीसीले ३ जित र १ खेल वर्षाका कारण रद्द भएको नतिजासहित अंकतालिकाको शीर्ष स्थानमा आफ्नो पकड थप मजबुत बनाएको छ।

Scarborough Nepali Cricket Club continues its outstanding run in the Scarborough Cricket Association T20 Second Division with another impressive victory over Tornado CC.

✅ SNCC – 195/5 (20 Overs)
✅ Tornado CC – 166/8 (20 Overs)
🎉 SNCC won by 29 runs

This result keeps SNCC unbeaten so far this season, with 3 wins and 1 washed-out match, placing us at the top of the table. The team’s dedication, discipline, and unity continue to shine both on and off the field.

🌟 Batting Highlights
A sensational innings from Naresh Bahadur Budhayer, who smashed 131 runs off 72 balls, provided the foundation for our victory. Equally important was the excellent support from Sapnil A, whose valuable 32 runs off 36 balls helped build crucial partnerships and guide the team to a competitive total of 195.
