SEPTEMBER OFFICIAL OF THE MONTH👏

The Sault Hockey Officials Association is proud to congratulate Kaydence Wardell, our September Official of the Month!

Now in her 3rd year of officiating, Kaydence was nominated for her professionalism on the ice, her consistently positive “can-do” attitude, and her commitment to keeping her availability up-to-date and getting out on the ice to skate lots of games!

As part of this award, Kaydence will receive a FREE skate sharpening card courtesy of jayteqhockeyrepairs, located in the John Rhodes Community Centre!🙌

Congratulations again, Kaydence, and thank you for everything you do to help make hockey a better game here in Sault Ste. Marie! Your dedication and positive attitude make a difference, and we’re lucky to have you on our officiating team!💪🏒

THANK YOU FUTURE OFFICIALS🦓🏒

Thank you again to everyone who attended and made this past weekend's NOHA entry-level officials certification course held at Sault College and the Soo PeeWee Arena such a success!👏

It was great to see so many new officials taking the first steps towards becoming part of the officiating community. Your commitment to learning the rules, developing your skills and stepping onto the ice for the first time wearing the black and white stripes is what helps to continue to grow the game.

We look forward to seeing you on the ice this season - Welcome to the Fighting Zebras! Good luck and have fun!🙌
