🌈 HAPPY PRIDE MONTH! 🌈

This June, we’re celebrating love, community, inclusion, and the incredible organizations working to support and advocate for the 2SLGBTQ+ community right here in Saskatoon.

Join Amy & Nic on Friday, June 12th at 6:30 PM for our annual Pride Ride, a special fundraiser supporting OUTSaskatoon

OUTSaskatoon provides support services, youth housing, education, and community programming for the 2SLGBTQ+ community through a harm reduction, culturally informed, equity-seeking, and community-based approach. Their work helps create safer spaces, meaningful connections, and access to resources for those who need them most.

This class is free to book through the app, and donations will be accepted at the door by cash or card. Every dollar raised will go directly to supporting OUTSaskatoon’s important work in our community.

Whether you’re a longtime rider or joining us for the first time, we’d love to have you there. Let’s come together to celebrate Pride, move our bodies, and support a more inclusive Saskatoon.

Good. We planned for that! The Summer Series wasn’t designed for perfect attendance, it was designed for real life.

Introducing the Comeback Class ⚡️

If you’re participating in the Summer Series and go seven days or more without a ride, your next class can be counted as a Comeback Class and will count as 2 classes in your total count. 
 
Just let our front desk team know you’re using a Comeback Class when you check in, and we’ll add an extra sticker to your challenge card.

The goal of the Summer Series is not to never miss a class, the goal is to keep coming back. Consistency doesn’t mean perfection, it means staying connected to movement and yourself through vacations, weekends away, and all the moments that make summer, summer.

Come when you can, we’ll see you there.

Let’s continue the conversation around what makes WellCycle different, our intentional, science-backed programming.

Next segment highlight: ENDURANCE

Stamina. Resilience. Aerobic capacity.
This segment is designed to build cardiovascular endurance through sustained, moderate intensity effort. And contrary to what many people think, this segment is not about going all-out.

This is where we target aerobic capacity; the efficiency of your heart, lungs, & muscles to deliver & use oxygen.

Here it’s all about finding the “sweet spot” on the dial - where your legs feel the kick back but you can maintain the beat for the entire track.

When trained intentionally, this style of work can support improved cardiac efficiency, decrease blood pressure, decrease inflammation and have a positive mental and cognitive health benefits.

In a nutshell this segment teaches riders how to stay steady, connected, and controlled through sustained effort, building resilience both physically and mentally.

Because whether you’re brand new to spin or you’ve ridden before but never truly felt confident on the bike, we believe understanding the “why” changes everything.

Our Beginner Block is designed to help riders build confidence through proper bike setup, understanding resistance and tempo, and learning how to ride with intentional body awareness. All in a supportive, fun, and approachable environment.

One of the biggest misconceptions about indoor cycling? That more resistance = a better workout. At WellCycle, we believe better movement starts with better understanding.

That’s why our Beginner Block focuses on more than just riding the bike. We teach proper bike setup, tension awareness, cadence control, and how to recognize the difference between working harder and working smarter.

Because resistance should support your movement - not compromise it.

Learning how to properly use tension creates more efficient movement patterns, better muscular engagement, and a safer, more sustainable ride experience overall.
