⚽💙 Alliance Players Headed to Everton International Academy March 20–28! 💙⚽
Last fall, Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. (SYSI) welcomed coaches from Everton F.C. in Liverpool, U.K. to run a special training camp for our Alliance teams. After the camp and player assessments by the professional Everton coaches, six of our athletes were selected for this incredible opportunity overseas!
Congratulations to Evan Johnson (U17B Alliance), Logan Williams-Armstrong (U17B Alliance), Wrigley Riggs (U15B Alliance), Lincoln Stade (U15B Alliance), Pravin Withana-Gamage (U15B Alliance) & Alistar Morrison (U14B Alliance) who have been invited to attend the Everton International Academy in Liverpool from March 20–28. All the boys have accepted the invitation and are slate to take part in this exciting development opportunity and continue growing on their soccer journey.
At the Everton International Academy, the focus is on high-level player development through professional football training while still competing in matches to test new skills. Training is led by Everton’s own professional coaches (UEFA B licensed and above) who have helped develop some of football’s biggest names.
During their time in Liverpool, they will:
⚽ Train with Everton Academy coaches
⚽ Play pre-arranged competitive friendly matches against local teams
⚽ Experience the professional environment at Everton
They will also have the incredible opportunity to attend a Premier League match between Everton F.C. and Chelsea F.C. while they are in England!
