The Sarnia Sting U16AA are officially the 2026 Alliance Champions after a thrilling 4–3 victory over the St. Thomas Stars! 💛🖤

This one had everyone on the edge of their seats — a true nail-biter from start to finish. Back and forth the entire game, both teams battling hard, trading goals, and leaving it all on the ice.

But in the end, the Sting dug deep, stayed focused, and got it done when it mattered most. 💪🔥

A huge shoutout to #60 Ty Kerr, a true brick wall behind the net, making clutch saves when it counted most and helping bring this Championship home! 🧱🥅👏

This championship wasn’t just won today — it’s the result of a season full of hard work, resilience, and heart. From almost being counted out to rising all the way to the top… this is what hockey dreams are made of.

Game 4 goes to the Sting… and WOW did they show up when it mattered most.

With everything on the line, the boys battled hard and came out on top — now sitting just ONE GAME AWAY from bringing home the Championship 🏆

What a absolute thriller!

Game 3 was anything but boring—the energy was electric from the first whistle to the final buzzer.

⚡️ The score was a total seesaw all night, but the boys stayed hungry, grinding out every shift and making some highlight-reel plays to find the back of the net. 🥅

​When the dust settled, we walked away with a massive 5-3 victory! 🏆

​Nolan Rodrigues An absolute force on the ice tonight! Huge shout out for netting a Hat Trick and keeping the momentum swinging our way! 🎩🎩🎩

​ #60 Ty Kerr: Once again, Ty left us all speechless! 🤯 His incredible athleticism and "brick wall" goaltending shut down St. Thomas time and time after they threw everything they had at us. 🚫🧱

The Sting put on an absolutely dominant performance in Game 2, controlling the play and generating countless scoring chances!

😤 However, the hockey gods had other plans, and the puck just wouldn't seem to find the back of the net. Sarnia outshot and outworked St. Thomas, but the final score stood at a frustrating 1-1 tie.

​A huge shoutout goes to Sting netminder #30 Nathan Geddes, who was a rock between the pipes! 🧱 He made some absolutely massive saves to keep the Stars at bay and protect the tie, ensuring the series remains wide open.

​This series is far from over! The battle continues this Wednesday night at 8 PM, as the scene shifts to St. Thomas for Game 3.

You can bet the Sting will be hungrier than ever for that crucial victory! 🔥

This Sarnia Sting AA U16 will begin their Championship games this weekend in St. Thomas. Best out of 7 game series.

They team will be down a few players to start so it's going to be tough battle but they know how to face challenges as a team as they did it to get to this point.

What an unbelievable game 4. U16AA down in the series needing to win to push a game 5. It went like this:
Period 1: 0-0
Period 2: 2-0 Sting
Period 3: 2-2 game goes into OT

Ty Kerr #60 having an unbelievable game between the pipes trying not let his team down and get them to game 5.

And Elijah Odolphy with the game winner goal in OT to have the crowds go WILD in the stands.

The Sting push a game 5 in Woodstock
