She has a vision for a world where individuals feel empowered to heal themselves physically, spiritually, and emotionally by drawing on the earth’s natural resources. This vision drives Amber to engage in her body’s senses through Kirtan and Yoga where voice activation and movement support healing within community. She extends this vision to her handmade creations where a passion for rocks grew ov
er time and, as a result of personal experiences, has evolved into a holistic engagement with these rocks and crystals - Natural healers of the earth. As a child, Amber connected to nature by collecting the perfect stones. Her sister would draw the eyes and smiles on for her, and Amber would place these rock families in their family garden. In middle school, Amber started learning more about the scientific composition of stones. She enjoyed learning about the tiny minerals and living elements of the earth that merge together over time and form solid rocks. As she got older, this curiosity gradually extended to crystals and Amber began to explore their metaphysical properties . She discovered their magick and the spiritual significance in their healing energies - A symbiosis of energetic, spiritual, and physical. Amber was called to join the local lapidary club in Regina, SK, where she learned how to use specific tools to cut, shape and polish stones. It was a perfect balance of practical and energetic engagement with these time-filled offerings of the earth. Amber’s favorite rock is Petrified Wood because of this exact connection to time. It holds history and wisdom from the land, being that it used to be a living tree millions of years ago. She fondly recalls spending hours on the shorelines of lakes in Saskatchewan, seeking it. The catalyst that sparked action on Amber’s journey was when her mom was diagnosed with cancer. Amber would sit next to her during chemo treatments and wire-wrap. It was a way to ground, and to bring presence and mindfulness to this time with her mother. The first piece Amber made was a collection of stones to target the area of her mother’s body that needed healing and to minimize the harmful effects of radiation. After her mother moved on from this physical world, wrapping became a way to navigate grief. It allowed Amber to work with her hands and transmute unpleasant emotions into positive energy. In her work now, this same intentional creativity drives each piece Amber creates. She views this work as an opportunity to thank the earth for its offerings, and to marry the natural beauty of these stones with their spiritual properties to support their wearer. Whether you are someone who fully believes in healing properties of crystals, or you find yourself drawn to a specific stone for its visual appeal or the feel of its surface, there is an intentional connection created upon choosing this relic to join you in your life. The shifts you see at the surface are just the beginning, and Amber Wolfe believes creativity is a therapy that has the power to change the world exponentially. There is a magick waiting to be discovered within you, and the natural world will show you just what that magick is capable of.
