Player stick review: Jacob Fowler

One of the most promising young goaltenders in hockey, Jacob Fowler is quickly establishing himself as a key part of the Montreal Canadiens’ future in net. Known for his calm presence, elite positioning, and sharp hockey IQ, Fowler combines technical precision with impressive athleticism. At 6’2”, he tracks the puck exceptionally well and plays a composed, efficient style that allows him to make difficult saves look routine.

Drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 2023, Fowler has continued to build momentum with strong performances and steady development. In his recent matchup against the Ottawa Senators, he delivered another solid performance, backstopping Montreal to a win and further showing why he is viewed as one of the organization’s top goaltending prospects.
