Greetings Racers, Volunteers & Supporters!
What a weekend! 🚴🏽♀️🍂 Fifty-five riders from across BC, Alberta, the Yukon, Ontario, Washington, and Colorado came together in Rossland for an unforgettable second annual Grey Ghost Pursuit.
We kicked off the weekend with great energy and community spirit — even a bit of smoke from a controlled burn near Christina Lake couldn’t dampen the mood. The weather held beautifully (minus a few early raindrops for the 6:15 a.m. DIG DEEP start) and the fall colours did not disappoint. 🍁
This year we introduced the new 140 km DIG DEEP route, which pushed limits and tested endurance — and you all rose to the challenge with determination and plenty of smiles at the finish line. 💪🏾😀
As always, this event simply wouldn’t happen without our wonderful volunteers, who poured their hearts into every aid station and moment of support along the way. 👏🏻
We were once again blown away by the generosity of our community and sponsors, including Tourism Rossland, Forte Construction, DJM, Revolution Bike Shop, and many others who made the event possible. You can find the full list of our incredible supporters at www.greyghostpursuit.com/supporters. 🙏🏼
Thank you to every single participant, volunteer, and supporter for making this year’s event such an incredible success. The Grey Ghost Pursuit has quickly become something truly special — a one-of-a-kind celebration of community, challenge, and mountain spirit here in the Kootenays.
Photos and race results are now live on the website! We’ll send another email shortly when all the photos have been uploaded. Stay tuned! Please tag us in any photos you post to help us spread the word about this awesome event.
We’d love your feedback! Please let us know how we can make the 2026 Grey Ghost Pursuit even better.
We hope to see you next year!
With gratitude,
Steph & The Grey Ghost Team 🚵🏾
