The second Rush player spotlight this evening features another Rush Canadians roster addition - "Ratty" Sean Ratcliffe

If you've never heard of Ratty, well you're missin out. This guy is a hoot! (Not to mention he's a pretty decent ball player too haha)

From bat flips, to home runs, to laughs on the bench... the Rush guys couldn't have asked for a better teammate and competitor at Canadians last summer!

Additionally, Ratty is also playing the on the Canada Majors Challenge Cup squad this weekend. Catch a game on the USSSA Live website!

Again, huge shoutout and thanks to Ratty for joining us in White Rock, BC last summer. I guess we'll let it slide you're still on that Shock roster (for now lol ?) 😉

It's Rush player spotlight night!!

Our first feature this evening is none other than the man himself, Tommy Fulton!

Tommy kept the boat balanced for us this past summer in White Rock BC at the pocket/5th man position. A defensive staple and an absolute beast at the plate, Tommy is a huge part of the Rush squad!!

This week the Rush team's player spotlight series showcases Frank Klassen!

The overarching intent of the Ontario Super Series A circuit is to finish as one of the four* qualifying teams that Ontario sends to the Canadian Championships the following year (ex. Rush's qualifying roster in 2024 competed at 2025 Canadians). The Canadian Championships locks players to their previous years' qualifying roster with the option to add a few extra players.

Frankie is our first spotlighted player from the 2025 Canadian Championships who was a "roster addition" player on the Rush team in 2025.

And we are VERY happy we did.

Frankie is an amazing 3rd baseman, has a powerful swing and is an incredible teammate. He was a key player to the Rush successes both during the 2025 Super Series regular season and was even more impactful at the 2025 Canadian Championships in BC.

We hope to see Frankie in a Rush uniform for many years to come!

Our second feature this evening showcases a core player on Rush who has made exemplary contributions to Rush’s successes over the past few years.

If you know Tyler Neeb then you understand the talent, drive and passion he has for the game of slo-pitch. As our starting shortstop at Canadians in 2025, Tyler has been the backbone of Rush’s infield defence for years and is also the top option for leadoff batter in our lineup. We are lucky to have him!!
