It has been great to see so many people who have decided to follow the Palliser Regional Park Pickleball page. We are over 300 followers and continue to grow. I hope this means that the courts will be well used this summer and for years to come.

When this project started my husband and myself resided in the park and we hoped to build a community that allowed others visiting the park to gather to play. We had started in that direction but this year we sold our home and decided to move back to the city. I have been monitoring this page and answering questions and posting periodically. In order to grow the community of “Pickleball in the Park” it is time to pass this on to someone who loves the sport, spends time in the park (you don’t have to reside there year round) and wants to build a community of others to play.

This special day is a day to celebrate our sport and players across the country. It also a day to celebrate the growth of Pickleball across Canada 🇨🇦 🍁Whether it’s celebrating by holding fun tournaments, skills competitions, clinics, free lessons, or just playing with friends and family - there are many ways to celebrate.

We are in need of an additional 30 feet of hose to make watering the trees easier. If you have some hose sitting around collecting dust please feel free to bring it down to the courts and add it on to what we already have there.

Also if you have a few extra minutes and want to help grow our trees please feel free to turn the tap on and put some water on the trees.

The Pickleball courts are open and ready to be used.

Pickleball courts are available for anyone in the park to use free of charge while using the paddle rotation system when others are waiting. If you enjoy using the courts please feel free to make a donation in our donation box that is set up at the courts. Donations will be used exclusively for upgrades and maintenance.

If you're interested in exclusive use of both courts without a rotation system for 1 hr or more reservations at a cost of $10.00/hr can be made at [email protected]

The courts are done being painted. Wow what a difference it made. The nets will remain down for a couple more days to let the paint cure before we play on them. When your out playing be sure to add a post to our page.

Pickleball courts will be closed this week as TOMKO Sports will be adding the surface coating.
