Does your little one dance through the kitchen, point their toes and turn everything into a performance?
Ballet might be their perfect place to begin. 💗

Our Ballet classes introduce dancers to beautiful movement, musicality, coordination and foundational dance technique — all in an encouraging environment where they can build confidence at their own pace.

With small class sizes and individual teacher attention, our youngest dancers aren’t simply another student in the room. We get to know them, encourage them and help them feel successful.

✨ A little throwback to last week’s Lyrical Choreography!✨

One week. New choreography. Lots of learning. And SO much growth. 💗

Our competitive dancers, ages 7–17, spent the week working with Miss Mikaela to learn their new group pieces — from our LAUNCH, ACCELERATE, ELEVATE & SOAR dancers all the way through ASCEND & CELESTIAL.

And while the finished snippets make it look effortless… there was a lot of hard work behind those moments. 👏

Learning choreography quickly takes focus, teamwork, adaptability, perseverance — and a willingness to keep trying when something doesn’t click right away. Watching these dancers come together as teams, challenge themselves and then absolutely light up when they got it was pretty special. 🥹

We’re so proud of how much they accomplished in just one week — and even more excited to see where these pieces go as they continue to grow throughout the season!

Sometimes the best way to know if a studio is the right fit is to hear it from the families who are already here. 💗

We loved receiving this message from DG Dance Mom Flavia after our year-end show. Seeing her girls leave the stage feeling proud, excited, and ready to dance even more is exactly what we hope for every dancer who walks through our doors.

At Defy Gravity, we want dancers to do more than learn choreography. We want them to build confidence, discover what they’re capable of, make friends, and feel proud of their progress - whether they’re taking one class a week or dancing with us at a more advanced level.

And while we’re incredibly proud of the dancers on our stage, we’re just as proud of the environment behind the scenes that helps them get there. 💕
