January was a great month with many drilling rig companies firing up more rigs. Companies like Horizon Drilling, Savanna Energy, Precision Drilling and Ensign Drilling were all looking for rig hands from inexperienced leasehands and floorhands as well as motormen and derrickmen.

There were also pipeline companies, environmental companies and first aid companies sending people into the classroom to update their Enform H2S Alive tickets.
