⚔️RAIKE-ING IN THE VINCE RYAN CHAMPS⚔️

The Blackstone Knights are proud to announce the resigning of Port Hawkesbury native, Matthew Raike!

Matt enjoyed an excellent inaugural NSSHL season. He put up just shy of a point per game in the regular season and playoffs, putting up 18 points in 19 total games.

Raiker had his hands in on the many players who proved to be playoff clutch. He put up the eventual game winner in game 3 to put the winds back in our sails to keep our season alive down 2-0 with our backs against the wall in enemy territory. He ripped a beautiful short-side top-shelf goal over the glove of Smith.

We are proud to have Matt back in Knights colours and we can’t wait to see what season 2 has in store!

SEASON 2 SCHEDULE

Your Blackstone Knights are proud to announce their regular season schedule for season 2! The Knights 16 game schedule will feature 8 home and 8 away games that will be split between Port Hood at the Al Macinnis Sports Centre and Inverness at the Dr. Bernie MacLean Cultural and Recreation Centre, who will both host 4 games a piece.

We’re just under a month away from puck drop for the 2nd regular season in the leagues history, let’s make it a memorable one!

⚔️KNIGHTS ADD SOME POWER⚔️

The Blackstone Knights are proud to announce the signing of 22 year old Louisdale native, Cadyn Power.

Cadyn, a proven point producer at the Junior Level is coming off a strong career in the NSJHL where he co-led the Strait Pirates in scoring in back-to-back seasons, averaging over a point per game over those 2 years.

Cadyn brings a combination of speed, skill, hockey sense and offensive creativity to the Knights. A right shot forward who isn’t afraid to attack, make plays and create scoring opportunities.

We’re extremely happy to add a player of Cadyn’s calibre to our group. His experience, competitive edge and ability to contribute offensively will be a huge addition as we continue building toward another run at the Vince Ryan Cup.

⚔️ ALL ABOARD THE CHADILLAC ⚔️

The Cape Breton West Blackstone Knights are proud to announce the re-signing of Chad Wilson.

Originally from Sackville, now residing in Richmond County, The “Chadillac” transitioned into Cape Breton West style hockey seamlessly and performed when the lights shined the brightest.

W***y, (the man of many nicknames) enjoyed himself a fantastic inaugural senior season. He put up 22 points in 20 games, highlighted by his game 5 natural hat trick performance against the Miners to move onto the final round. After going down 1-0 quickly in game 5, Chad found himself a home in the slot and put home 3 quick goals to immediately flip the momentum on route to a 5-3 victory.

In game 5 against the former County Islanders, (now Membertou Warriors) Chad had the primary assist on the game winning goal by Randon MacKinnon proving yet again he will be there in the clutch.

The Knights are thrilled to have Chad back for another shot at the crown and we can’t wait to see what season 2 has in store!
