Not your average day at the rink..The Saugeen Shores Skating Club is excited to host another "Battle of the Blades" April 20th at the Plex. It's a classic match up of hockey player and figure skater who come together to perform a skating routine to music and compete against other teams! Our community had never hosted an event like this... but it was about time we did. What a blast! This year the S

augeen Shores Skating Club will donate half of the proceeds to the Caitlyn Crusaders Community Crusaders! Caitlyn Cobean's Community Crusaders in affiliation with the Tara Boom Houston Children's Foundation are dedicated to raising funds to help improve the lives for families whose children who have been diagnosed with life threatening illnesses. It’s been almost a week since the 2018 Battle of the Blades Fundraiser and we are still feeling the love.
Oh what a night!

The Saugeen Shores Skating Club and Caitlyn Cobean Community Crusaders are very grateful to the teams, sponsors, volunteers and to all of you for being part of another successful event. “No one can do everything but everyone can do something.”
Everyone played a role in making it a most enjoyable and memorable evening.
