Can you help the Lions Club?

The Port Dover Lions Club is welcoming students to Dover from June 27th to July 14th through the Lions International Youth Exchange Program.

We currently have more students coming than we have host homes available, so we are hoping to find a few local families, couples, or individuals who would be willing to host one or two students during that time.

Hosting does not mean entertaining or supervising them every minute. The students are quite self-sufficient, and much of their time is already organized through the Youth Exchange program. What they really need is a welcoming home base, a place to sleep, some meals, and a friendly local connection while they are here.

You don’t need to commit before learning more. If you think you might be able to help, please send me a message and I’d be happy to answer your questions. We have hosted in the past, and it is a wonderful experience for both the students and the host families.

Ashley Schultz Photography will be taking all of our amazing photos for this season!

Please make sure players:
- Arrive on time for their scheduled photo time

Today we celebrate the moms who spend countless hours at the ball diamond — cheering in the stands, washing uniforms, packing snacks, organizing schedules, volunteering their time, and always being the biggest supporters of our players.

Your love, dedication, patience, and encouragement help make our PDMBA community so special. Whether you’re keeping score, running to practices, working the concession, or simply offering a hug after a tough game, you are the heart behind the team.

Our small concession can’t run without amazing volunteers, and we still need a few people to help cover shifts for a tournament this weekend!

✨ Great for high school students needing volunteer hours
✨ Fun atmosphere and a great way to support our baseball community!

📅 Available Shifts:

Saturday May 9th
⚾️ 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
⚾️ 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM

Sunday May 10th
⚾️ 10:45 AM – 3:00 PM
