What a Championship night! Dylan drove his #77 Jr Late Model to another 2nd place finish after letting Owen pass him in the #17 to allow him to get the most points he can to stay ahead in the Season Championship!

Although Chris brought his #88 Bonestock, he couldnt shake the gremlins and another sensor had him racing in limp mode. Not ideal.

We are traveling to Full Throttle Speedway for the Bandolero racing tomorrow !

Race Day Recap!

Coming into last night's racing, Owen is defending the Championship Title and is leading by 7 Pts.

Owen started 4th in his heat, and quickly raced through the front cars and took home another heat win! Dylan started 7th in his heat and managed to move up to 4th in his heat.

Owen had to start 10th in the feature because he won the feature last race and Dylan started 8th.
Dylan got bumped early on, but the 2 continued to drive, in the mix, Owen raced up to 4th and dylan was 6th for the restart a few laps later when we got a red flag. A couple laps after the restart, Owen came into corner 1+2 catching another car very fast, and accidentally came into contact trying to cross over the car in the corner. Another car hit the car that almost spun, and they sent all 3 cars to the back for a restart. Dylan kept his lines consistent, and kept the car out of trouble and with 3 top cars moved to the back, he was in 2nd for the restart!

Owen than drove from the back into 4th place and almost took 3rd place away at the checkered flag finish! Dylan was able to hang onto a 2nd place finish, his best feature finish yet! What a drive boys!

Special shoutout to Avery Kirkpatrick and her amazing drive on the restart! She tucked behind Owen and drove that car super well and right into a 5th place finish! We had DMR Race Team & Dialed In Performance top 3 fastest cars the the practice, and had all 3 cars finish top 5 in the feature! 🏁🏆

Join us this Saturday, August 29 for the Robert Maebrae Classic & Kids Rides at Peterborough Speedway.

The night will feature Mini Stocks, Renegade Trucks, Late Models, Jr. Late Models and GEN-3 Electrical OMRS SportsMods, plus Kids Rides for our young race fans.

We are asking fans, drivers, crews and families to wear red in support of the Robert Maebrae race and help us fill the speedway with a sea of red in his memory.

Bring the family, wear red and be part of a meaningful night at the track. ❤️🏁

August 15, 2026 Race Recap

Dylan and Owen raced Jr Late Model yesterday, Dylan is currently 10th in points, and Owen is sitting in 2nd place, down 7 pts for the lead in the Championship coming into this race.

Owen had the best lap times in practice. Dylan hit his personal best lap time during the day.

Dylan started 3rd place in his heat, but saved a spin and ended up falling back a position to a 4th place finish. Owen started 4th in his heat and was able to drive through the lead cars and win his heat to start the night!

In the feature Dylan started 7th and fell back being involved in a collision, but kept racing and finished 8th. Owen started 5th in the feature and ended up driving through the field and had Troy Purvis and Lyla Sikma hot on his tail for about 10 laps and 2 restarts. Owen ended up taking home his second 1st place finish in the feature !

Another great race by the Jr Late Model field!
