We’ll be exploring the dual nature of existenceβ€”the material world that shifts and the higher, spiritual energy that sustains us. Our movement will focus on tapping into that internal "higher nature" that remains steady.

We are shifting our Friday Vinyasa practice at the Gillespie House to start 15 minutes earlier! Join us from 8:45 AM – 10:00 AM to kick off your weekend with a full 75 minutes of intentional movement.

After last Tuesday’s snow day, I am so looking forward to getting back into the studio and the museum with you all! We are picking up right where we left off, transitioning into March with a focus on Chapter 6 of the Bhagavad Gita.

In our Back to Basics and Vinyasa sessions, we are exploring the metaphor of the mind as a "steady flame in a windless place." This week, we use our physical movement to build that inner stillness, learning how to remain centered even when the "winds" of life are blowing around us.

This week in our Back to Basics and Vinyasa sessions, we are beginning our exploration of Chapter 6 of the Bhagavad Gita.

This chapter focuses on the path of meditation (Dhyana Yoga). It offers the beautiful reminder that the mind can be our greatest ally or our greatest challengeβ€”and through our practice, we learn how to make the mind our best friend. We’ll be using our movement on the mat to find that steady "inner lamp" that stays lit even in a windless place.

Special Note for Friday: I am thrilled to share that Jo-Anne will be guest-teaching our Friday morning flow! It’s a wonderful chance to experience a new perspective and energy in the studio.
