Michelle here … I’d like to tell you a story

Tina Fagan 🏃‍♀️

When Tina Fagan walked into Sisters in Fitness Running Club in 2014, little did we know just how much running would become a part of her story.

To say Tina fell in love with running is an understatement.

At the beautiful age of 55, Tina started a learn to run program , then racing and she never looked back. Race after race and kilometre after kilometre she continued to challenge herself and discover just how much she could achieve.

Tina’s story is about so much more than running.

Her personality is infectious. She is fun, hilarious, loving and full of positive energy. Tina has become an icon within our running club. Everyone knows Tina simply because of the energy she brings wherever she goes.

She also gives so much back. Tina helps others learn to run and encourages them to keep going as they reach goals they once never thought possible. She has been beside so many runners as they discovered that they too could do hard things.

Now Tina is about to add another incredible chapter to her story.

As she finishes her 65th year, Tina will travel to Kilkenny, Ireland to take on an international marathon on September 12 ( 4 days before her 66th bday) She will have a whole group travelling with her who are ready to cheer her on every step of the way. 🇮🇪☘️

From walking through our doors at 55 to running a marathon in Ireland at 65.

Tina, you remind us that it is never too late to start, never too late to set a new goal and never too late to discover YOU!

Kilkenny / Dublin 🇮🇪 get ready. Tina Fagan is coming!

Tina is a resident of Conception Bay South her whole life, devoted wife , mother of 2 adult boys and an adoring grandmother of 2 grandsons.

Pilates with Toys incorporates a variety of small equipment such as Pilates balls, bands and other props to add resistance, challenge your balance and bring a fresh twist to traditional Pilates exercises.

Build core strength, stability, mobility and flexibility while enjoying a class that keeps things interesting from start to finish.

One of the hottest fitness trends across North America is coming to Sisters in Fitness this Fall!

Kathleen is completed her UpBeat Pilates Certification, bringing this exciting new style of movement to our communities.

BUT we’re taking it one step further…

Now certified, the millennial and GenX Kathleen and Michelle will collaborate to develop Pilates Beats by Sisters in Fitness™ our own signature take on this exciting, music-driven Pilates experience. It’s always about the 🎶

Pilates Beats combines the precision of Pilates with the energy of music to create a fun, beat driven workout that sculpts and tones your entire body. Hot and sweaty 😅 every movement flows to the rhythm, strengthening your core, sculpting lean muscle, improving posture, balance and mobility while creating the long, lean strength Pilates is known for.

Michelle has over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry and is trained and certified in developing innovative fitness programming. She also holds 25+ specialty certifications in group fitness, including Certified Running Coach, Pilates, yoga, mobility, fascia training and functional movement. Together, Kathleen’s certification and Michelle’s programming expertise will create a class experience found exclusively at Sisters in Fitness!
