2023 Masters Indigenous Games

Masters Indigenous Games will be taking place on August 24-27, 2023.

The Masters Indigenous Games are proud to host 7 indigenous athletes from the Sierra Tarahumara that will be participating at the Masters Indigenous Games from 25-27 August.
Their participation has been possible thanks to the partnership between the Embassy of Mexico, the Government of Chihuahua, Ah Chihuahua, and Indigenous Sport & Wellness Ontario
Pianist Romeyno Gutierrez, the first pianist and composer in full development, will also perform at the games. Don’t forget to visit the stand of Mexico and other surprises that are awaiting at Terry Fox Athletic Facility and Landsdowne Great Lawn.

The Ottawa 2023 Masters Indigenous Games (MIG), scheduled to take place from August 24-27 in Ottawa (Algonquin Territory), is open to Indigenous Peoples (over the age of 19) from around the world. There are no qualifiers and teams can be made up of athletes from anywhere in the world.

2023 Masters Games are still seeking vendors for the Cultural Festival! 👀
The 2023 MIG Cultural Festival (August 25-27) will feature a vendors’ village showcasing a variety of Indigenous traditional arts, foods and merchandise.
We also have spots open for local organizations, groups, Friendship Centres, corporate partners, education partners, not-for-profits, and more!
