A special thank you to UNB REDS Men's Hockey player Nick Blagden for joining us this evening to present our first annual Nick Blagden ‘Win The Day’ Award. This new annual award is presented to a player who used dedication & perseverance to succeed despite difficult circumstances. A player who has overcame a lot to ‘Win The Day’!

A little back story: Nick has turned his experiences into a platform for normalizing conversations about mental health in sport. His Speech ‘Win The Day’ features honest discussions about living with mental illness and overcoming challenges. Nick delivers public talks on mental health in sport for teams and at events in the community. Back in December, Nick came and spoke with our Eagles and made a significant impact within our program. If you or your team is looking for a mentor to speak with your program, do not hesitate to reach out to him!

Another special thank you to Al for supplying us all with a wonderful dinner, and a venue to host our event!
