This past weekend, 3 of our skaters attended an all-boys/men’s seminar in Edmonton, for STAR 4 through Gold and Podium Pathway skaters!

Consisting of both on-ice and off-ice training sessions led by Keegan Messing, Ravi Walia, Ben Ferreira and Chris Hammer - the experience was incredible and the environment was very supportive.

We look forward to hearing more about their lessons and takeaways this week! 🙏🏽

The 2nd competition of the NEW 2026/2027 Skate Canada: Alberta-NWT/Nunavut season is fast approaching - the 2026 Fall Invitational!

We’re especially excited about the addition of STARSkate long programs to this year’s Fall Invitational, offering STARSkate athletes another opportunity to compete with larger competition flights, earlier in the season.

This competition also marks the final qualifying event in our section for Sectional Championships in October!

It’s DAY 1 of our Fall Season 🍂⛸️

Recreational STARSkate & Competitive Podium Pathway training has begun in High River, with our Okotoks ice times beginning this Friday & De Winton ice starting next Thursday!

After a well deserved summer break - it’s good to connect with new and old friends on the ice 🙏🏽

Monday sessions will be held at The Okotoks Recreation Centre & Friday's at the Viking Rentals Centre in town!

We cap our groups at 8-10 participants to ensure we're offering an attentive and supportive environment that's comfortable for our little skaters. Please be aware that spaces can fill quickly ⤵

Wild Rose Invitational Recap 👏

We would like to extend a big congratulations to all of our skaters that competed at 1st competition of the 2026/2027 season, and a shoutout to the coaching team, parents and extended community that make this all possible for our club!

Our weekend was filled with incredibly strong competition from BC, AB | NWT | NU, SK and ON 🙏🏽

Our skaters and families brought such a fun and supportive energy to Wild Rose, alongside of new programs and new competitive elements. We couldn’t be more proud of all the little and big wins along the way! We have a solid base to build upon this Fall.
