Going to the gym and feel like you aren’t making any progress?! I got you 😉
1. You do too many exercises in a workout, I generally do 4-6 exercises max in any given workout. Any more than that and you probably aren’t using the right intensity, getting enough volume in each movement or just waste time setting up each movement. Keep your workouts simple
2. Too much time on “fluffy” volume - I enjoy a bicep curl as much as anyone but 80% of your exercises you pick should be big compound movements like squats and pull ups. Doing an hour of 5 different bicep exercises or shoulder raises just isn’t doing anything for you. Leave that for the end 20%
3. You change your exercises too often, spend anywhere from 4-12 weeks working on improving a set of exercises then switch it up, don’t just go to the gym and pick a bunch of random exercises for the day that’s just going to make you sweaty.
