We are happy to share that Niagara United Soccer Club has a new Cooling / Misting Station at Kalar Sports Park. 💦

This project was part of the Community Decision Making Project the City of NF had undertaken that selected Kalar Park for this new station. It consists of 3 misting posts, when the button is pushed releases 30 seconds of cool refreshing mist.

Thanks to Tracy Singer, President at NUSC who attended the activation meeting.

The project was implemented with the assistance of City MW Operations Staff, Andrew Carruthers and Carrie Luciow (special thanks). The contractor was Open Space Solutions.

Hoping this new cooling / misting station will help keep our players stay cool through the hot soccer season for many years to come!

The U17 Boys were this season’s SSL League Champions 🏆 with a record of 11 wins, 1 tie and 1 loss. ⚽️

Their amazing season also included being League Cup finalists, winners of the AC Douglas and finalists in 2 other tournaments. 🔥

Their coaches, Cathy & Joe Fletcher are proud not only of the team’s successes, but also of the way these gentlemen conduct themselves both on and off the pitch, representing Niagara United with character, respect, and integrity.

The coaches would also like to show their appreciation for all of the help and contributions from the parents (who are themselves incredible) and from the Niagara United club.

Congratulations on your accomplishments gentlemen! 👏
