A huge thank you to everyone who pitched in by bringing a donation to our Awards Gala!

On behalf of NWMB, Max Gaudet dropped off the food cupboard donations this morning!! We took over half to the library and also filled the cupboards at Fraser's and Scotchtown Fire Department!!! A last minute idea made a huge impact on our community.

Thank you to everyone who donated, the shelves were bare when we arrived and are now stocked!!!

"Together we can make a difference in our community" 💙

We are a few days out from our first Awards Gala!

A reminder that this is for all BNS teams only.

While the dress code is dressyish, we invite everyone to wear what makes them comfortable!

NWMB is proud to introduce our new Michael Roberts pennant for major house this year!

Michael Roberts was a ‘standout shortstop, he signed a professional contract with the Milwaukee Braves in 1957, playing his first season with the McCook Braves in Nebraska, where he earned second-team all-star honors, and a second season in Boise, Idaho. Returning home, he anchored the New Waterford Giants, capturing historic Maritime championships in 1959 and 1965. His athletic legacy is enshrined in the Maritime Sport Hall of Fame, the Cape Breton Sports Hall of Fame, and the New Waterford & District Sports Hall of Fame.’

Outside of baseball, Mr. Roberts become a math teacher ending his career at BEC until he retired in 1994.

Congratulations to these boys who showed excellent sportsmanship, dedication and smart baseball playing this summer ⚾️
