A batch of straight paddles with last coat of finish drying. The Gflex tip will be applied tomorrow than ready for sale. Lots of paddles in stock including double Bend paddles and my Ulta light double Bend. I can also refinish and retip your used paddle.

Small run of 56" straight paddles as I was running low on stock. First coat of finish on freshly sanded paddles, 2 coats to go plus adding gflex tip and they will be good to go.

Second step in straight paddle glue up with blades and handles glued and clamped onto handles. Handles are 3 layer lamination with blades 8 piece laminated construction. Why laminated instead of solid one piece? The glue joints are stronger than wood so by mixing grain of wood you have stronger paddle with less weight. Send me a message to check them out.

This is close up of blade tip on my Nith River Paddle Special. The cedar blade has a 1/8 strip of White Oak steam bent and glued to blade edge with a g-flex epoxy edge guard applied over paddle finish. Makes for a tough as nails tip guard over a ultra light blade. Really the best of both worlds for a great paddling experience.
