I am in the early stages of organizing a motorcycle rally/ride for a very deserving family. Here is their story which was shared by my niece seeking support to help them.

Before I hit the ground running I am seeking interest and support to get this off the ground.

Krista Fraser, is the mother of the teenage girl who was brutally beaten by a group of teenagers about a month ago.

There were quite a few disturbing videos that were/ are circulating showing the torture this young girl endured. It was honestly disgusting and so disturbing- very hard to watch. I cannot even begin to imagine the rage and sadness Krista felt while watching the videos.

Krista has had to take a considerable amount of time off work to be with her daughter who has had quite a few medical procedures done, and more to go. Not only is she worried about her daughter’s physical and mental health, but she’s also worrying about her finances. It has all been extremely difficult for her to navigate.

Krista is one of those “strong independent women” … pretty sure I know a few of those myself, 😂… it’s not in her to ask for help.

This mother and her daughter need support and it is my hope to gain enough momentum via my network to arrange a rally of riders to collect donations to gift her.

We would arrange to meet at the Truro Power Station date TBD and ride to their home or a designated area to present Krista with our donation which would be in New Glasgow.

I would love to get as many riders as possible but even moreso I want as many female riders as possible.

Ready, set, and Go let's make this happen. My hope is to have support from HRM straight through to New Glasgow.

SUPPORT BENEFIT ALL Proceeds go to Ayla and her family

There comes a time when a community has to stand up and show what it's really made of.
What happened to Ayla Johnson is something no young girl should ever have to go through. The bullying, the harassment, and the pain it's caused are not a reflection of the values we were raised with here in Pictou County. It's not the community we grew up in, and it's not the example we want to leave behind for our kids.
As bikers, we're no strangers to looking after our own, standing up for those who need support, and showing up when it matters most. On June 27th, the Katt Sass MC is opening its doors and bringing people together to do exactly that.
This event isn't about anger or blame. It's about reminding Ayla and her family that they have an entire community behind them. It's about showing that kindness is stronger than cruelty, and that no child should ever feel alone when facing something like this.
We encourage everyone—riders and non-riders alike—to come out, show your support, and help us send a message about what Pictou County really stands for.
Let's fill the hall. Let's show up. Let's show Ayla that her community has her back.
