World Gymnaestrada Display Team!

Rhythmic Dimensions & The Glacier Adult Group are joining forces again this year with hopes to attend the World Gymnaestrada in Helsinki FInland. We had a blast at National Gymnaestrada last July in Calgary AB and are now gearing up for Finland. National Gymnaestrada 2014 & World Gymnaestrada 2015
NELSON COMMUNITY DISPLAY TEAM!!!

National Gymnaestrada is a festival of movement involving traditional and non-traditional gymnastics disciplines, Dance, Acrobatics and More! Performances take place inside in a gymnasium or outside on a field or stage. It is a true celebration of Canadian Gymnastics. These events are targeted at anyone and everyone –from kids to seniors and from beginner to experienced high level performers. Groups of 10 or more persons will put together a performance of around 5 minutes and will get to participate in workshops, watch performances and take part in the local Canada Day celebrations.

World Gymnaestrada is the largest Gymnastics event to happen in the World. This event will bring together over 21 000 participants from around the world to celebrate gymnastics and dance. In order for teams to attend a World Gymnaestrada event, they must first attend a National Gymnaestrada. This year the Nelson gymnastics & dance community is putting together a mixed team of males/females, children/adults, dancers/gymnasts/ hoopers/ acro yoga and anyone else interested, with the intention of performing at the National Gymaestrada this summer and then with aspirations to attend the World Gymaestrada in Finland in 2015 for anyone interested.

Our Team is registered, so now we’re just looking for a few more interested persons to join our group! Team members can be interchangeable, so if you’re interested, in either the National or World Gymnaestrada but unsure if you will be available for both, we can still accommodate.

National Gymnastrada Display Group starting in January!

National Gymnastrada is a recreational event that celebrates all forms of display gymnastics (rhythmic, tumbling, trampoline, acro dance ect). Participants come from all over Canada to attend this event which takes place only once every 4 years! ... it is such an amazing opportunity for us as it is so close this time in Calgary AB.

Are you interested in being part of a display group and attending National Gymnastrada in Calgary end of June 2014?

National Gymnastrada is a recreational event that celebrates all forms of display gymnastics (rhythmic, tumbling, trampoline, acro dance ect). Participants come from all over Canada to attend this event which takes place only once every 4 years! ... it is such an amazing opportunity for us as it is so close this time in Calgary AB.

I would like to put together a group which will meet one day a week to learn a routine for this event. The minimum required number per group to attend is 10. The deadline for registering for this event is November 29th. I would like to have this group practicing before this date.
