Langford Recreational Trails

Langford Recreational Trails 6 mi east of Neepawa, Mb on Hwy 16, 3 mi south on Rd 81W. Features a wide variety of topography, trees and native grasses.

There are 5 loop trails, and a spur trail to a tamarack marsh, for a total of 9.4 km in an oak/aspen forest over sand dunes. picnic table available, benches along trails, pit toilet

Beautiful days to go for a hike! Leaves and tamaraks just starting to turn colour.  Trails are in great shape.

Thank you to Mark Po***ck for providing labor and equipment to clear some of our more Hazel - overgrown trails. #4 especially was in danger of being closed, but is now fully cleared, just in time for fall Tamarak viewing!

---talk or make other noise so any bear will be aware of your presence.
--avoid carrying food, and dont leave garbage on the trail.
--keep all dogs on a leash and under control.
--hike in a group if possible.

It's time to take a BERRY interesting hike! Wild berries are at their best right now, take your family out and see if you can find wild raspberries, chokecherries and pincherries. (Just don't eat anything unless you're sure what it is!)
