Had to have a little fun to wrap up the season — the coaches now officially have their own replica bobbleheadz 😂

The likeness? Pretty darn good. The entertainment value? 10/10. The kids got a good laugh, and honestly… we might be a little too attached to them now.

But in all seriousness, we can’t thank our coaches enough for everything they do. The hours they give — at least 4 times a week — never go unnoticed. Their dedication, patience, and commitment to these kids means more than we can say.

Just another memory from a season full of laughs, teamwork, and moments we won’t forget anytime soon 🏒

That’s a wrap, folks! 🎉

Today marks the end of our season with our year-end banquet, and what a great way to celebrate an incredible group of kids.

So proud of each and every player and everything they’ve accomplished this year. It’s truly been a wonderful season filled with growth, friendships, and so many great memories.

A special shoutout to our 2nd year U11 players — best of luck as you head into U13 next season. We can’t wait to watch you continue to grow!

Parents vs. Kids… and wow, what a night. Easily one of the most fun events we’ve had all season.

The moms showed up and showed out — so much so the kids were chirping that they outplayed the dads. From moms and dads to big siblings and little siblings, it was a full-on family showdown.

Safe to say this one’s going straight into the memory books as an all-time favourite. 🏒 🥅 💙 ❤️ Guess who won?

Wishing our official DJ, Bernie A, a very happy birthday! 🎉

He’s been keeping the beats bumping all season long whether it’s a classic hit for the parents or a fan favorite for the players, he always delivers top notch tunes after every whistle. 🎶
As the legendary DJ Casey Kasem once said, “Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars.” And in Bernie’s case… he is tall enough he could probably grab a couple right out of the sky himself 😄

Our U11 provincial journey came to an end yesterday, but we took today to reflect and soak in an unforgettable experience.

This team had so much to prove and they absolutely delivered. Since October, their growth has been nothing short of phenomenal. What started as 17 individual players became a truly connected team that supported one another every step of the way. The passes, the cheers, the high fives, the hugs and the friendships showed just how strong they became together.

They finished 1st out of 8 teams heading into crossovers, battled hard to win their crossover game, and although they fell short in the semifinals and bronze medal match, their effort and heart never wavered.

We are so proud not just of what they accomplished, but of how they handled adversity. Losing is never easy, but it builds resilience, teaches valuable lessons, and fuels the determination to come back even stronger.

What an incredible showing by the U11B Blades. Your families, friends, fans, and especially Coaches Miller, Nick, Bill, Todd, and Manager Wendy are beyond proud of you.

And a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to the stadium to cheer them on. Your support echoed through Paradise Stadium and gave this team an extra boost of energy all weekend ❤️

Game 5: Blades vs. Lab West
It was a hard battle from the time the puck dropped. The Blades left it all out on the ice, but unfortunately fell short in this game, losing to 5-2.

Game 6 Bronze Medal: Blades vs. Lewisporte
Such a physical game from start to end. The Blades battled hard for every puck, every opportunity, and every inch. Sadly for our great team the medal was slightly out of reach. But we are so proud
