⚾ What a season for this U13 team! ⚾

This incredible group wrapped up their season last weekend, and what a season it was!

They had an outstanding regular season, finishing with an impressive 16-1-1 record to claim 1st overall out of 21 teams in their league! 👏🔥

They carried that strong play into the year-end tournament, battling hard right to the end. Unfortunately, a couple of tough one-run losses ultimately brought their tournament run to an end.

We couldn’t be more proud of this amazing group of players and everything they accomplished this season! Their hard work, determination and teamwork were on full display all year long.

🥈 U13 Year-End Tournament! ⚾️💙

What a weekend for our girls!

The U13 Mavericks finished 5th place in the regular season and battled their way to a Silver Medal in the A Division at their year-end tournament! 🥈👏

Friday and Saturday brought us some great ball weather, but unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans on Sunday afternoon to complete the remainder of the games.

We couldn’t be more proud of these girls! They never gave up, battled through every game, and continued to fight together as a team to bring home a medal. 💪💙

What an amazing way to finish the season! ⚾️🥈

🚨 IMPORTANT MAVERICKS FAMILY NOTICE 🚨

We know there have been a lot of scam emails circulating lately, so we wanted to make sure everyone knows that the email regarding the cancellation of the “Grand in Hand” fundraiser is 100% legitimate and was sent directly by the Mount Forest Mavericks Executive.

Unfortunately, due to challenges obtaining the required lottery licence, we are unable to proceed with the fundraiser.

🏆 Mavericks 11U Championship Showdown! 🏆

It was an all-Mavericks battle in the 11U championship game as Team Corley and Team Vanderaa went head-to-head!

Congratulations to Team Corley on taking home 1st place and finishing an incredible season undefeated! 🥇

A huge congratulations to Team Vanderaa on an amazing 2nd-place finish! 🥈

Both teams battled hard, showed incredible talent and represented Mount Forest with pride. What an incredible group of athletes.

The fun didn’t stop there! Coach Vanderaa made the girls a promise, if they made it to the championship game, she would let them smash a pie plate full of whipped cream right in her face! Well, the girls held up their end of the bargain, and Coach Vanderaa certainly did too! We’re pretty sure the girls enjoyed that part just a little too much! 😆

15U Girls — C Division Finalists ⚾️

What a weekend for these 15U girls! 💪⚾️

They battled through the rain, wind, and everything Mother Nature threw their way, never backing down and continuing to fight for every inning, every out, and every run.

Their hard work, determination, and teamwork carried them all the way to the Championship Game, and brought home silver! 🥈

We couldn’t be more proud of this group. They showed incredible resilience all weekend long and proved that when you stick together and keep battling, amazing things happen.

What a Season! ⚾️💙

What a season it has been for the Mount Forest Mavericks 13U OBA team! From the first pitch to the final out, this group showed tremendous growth, determination, teamwork, and plenty of heart.

And what better way to cap off an incredible season than with a hugely successful tournament at the CNE! 🎡⚾️ The team battled hard, competed with confidence, and represented Mount Forest with pride.

A special shoutout to our pitchers, Beckett and Blake, who turned in two extremely strong pitching performances at the tournament. Including a NO HITTER from our workhorse Beckett. They stepped up when the team needed them most, delivering outstanding outings and helping set the tone for a fantastic weekend. 💪⚾️

A huge THANK YOU goes out to our amazing sponsors, Saugeen Homes and C&K Excavating, for supporting these players and helping make this season possible. Your commitment to our team and our community is truly appreciated!

Most importantly, congratulations to all of our players. You should be incredibly proud of everything you accomplished this season. The wins and losses will fade, but the friendships, lessons, and memories will last a lifetime.
