Great tournament in Anselmo today. Congratulations to all the volunteers for hosting such a great day.
Winners of the tournament were:
1st place from Mayerthorpe the Faoro team
2nd place from Mayerthorpe the Wilhelms team
3rd place from Jarvie the Beamish team
4th place from Mayerthorpethe Adam’s team

A great day at Mundare at our first tournament of the year. The leadership of the Mundare Seniors and the floor curling organization stood out today. Congratulations to the club and all the teams that participated.
The winners of the tournament were:
1st place from Jarvie the Beamish team
2nd place from Mundare the Dziwenka team
3rd place from Calder Comm League the Conrad team
4th place from Mundare the Larson team

The summer is slipping by which means the new Alberta Floor Curling season is soon the start. Mundare has the first tournament of this year on September 2, 2026. Always a very enjoyable day at Mundare. Can’t wait to get things kicked off.

The 2026 TOURNAMENT packages have been sent out. Contains all the necessary forms for your tournaments. Thank you to the volunteers that helped put them all together. We are close to the first tournament that will be held in Mundare September 2, 2026.

We are into August and getting closer to the new Floor Curling season. Ensure to get your memberships soon so the
membership cards can be printed and distributed. Have a great August everyone.

The 2025-2026 AFCA Floor Curling Season was a great success. Thank you again to all the 500 members that play and compete in the AFCA tournaments. Without you all it is not possible. AFCA tries to give money back each year to our Clubs. This year we’re able to mail out a $1200.00 Cheque to each of our 22 clubs.
Can’t wait for next season to start. Have a great summer everyone.
