90% is just about showing up! 👊🏼

This year was my only event and it was an amazing one! I have to say that in all the races that I have done so far, it was the smoothest and the most enjoyable one with the view we had for our run. 🌤️🏃🏻‍♂️

As mentioned above, I have took more time for myself this year and focus on my mental health, which resulted in a less demanding training regiment. I have not been traning as much as I did in the past. I have focused myself into getting better and be ready for my first deployment coming in exactly a month from now. 🫡🇨🇦

That single race was indeed a good way to challenge me to get out of a comfort zone and to prove myself that once again, I can do much better. It was a great opportunity to focus on myself, enjoy each portion of the event, but ultimately be surrounded by this amazing community. 🤗

This is not a good bye. On the contrary, I will be back next year on the Starting Line, wearing my red shirt for another season 💪🏼

Me smilling, not knowing what the actual f**k I am putting myself through. So many bad ideas, yet totally worth it 🥴🫠

1a) 6 sets to find 12RM Banded Safety Bar Box Squats with 1-2min rest

2a) 4 sets of 10 Bulgarian DB Deadlift per side with 30sec rest

3a) 3 sets of 12 Landmine Curtsy Lunge to Knee Drive per side with 30sec rest between each leg

4) 3 round 30s ON/15s OFF
A- 50lbs KB Swings
B- 200lbs Sled Drive and Drag (20m)
C- Air Runner

5a) 4 sets of 15 Inverted Leg Press into a double drop sets with more or less of 1min rest

Another one in the book! 💪🏼🤓

This weekend I had to the opportunity to be part of the PPSC X TRAINING certification a.k.a. the Level 2 of the system which was almost only hands on practice. I am coming out of this event with joy and gratitude, and also with even more tools/techniques to use with my clients.

What I always liked about PPSC is how the teach their principles and how we can integrate them to our own system in many unique way, and the fact that we spend a lot more time in the practical portion rather than spending hours looking at slides and contemplating how we can use everything they teach us makes this experience very rich in its entirety.

This is the 3rd time in person (and 5th if we count online certs) that .3dfit was the master instructor for the weekend and let me tell you that the quality of content, the way that they teach and how great of a person they are is such a privilege to have and I want to thank you again for overdelivering once more!

I also want to take a moment and thanks not only to assist Logan this entire weekend, but for hosting this event at your gym which is a very nice studio in Toronto's harbour. We were able to have a great team workout and Drew took the lead to push us on sunday morning before the beginning of the second day. This another carring and passionate person I am glad I have met along the way with PPSC.

Thank to everyone that was there for this memorable weekend! We all had a blast and it was great to be surrounded by a bunch of awesome people that share the same passion!

Photo dump from last week's Western Style event.

A little deceived about the outcome, but I was able to finish the time cap. I've started my first 2km run with cramps in my ribs and lower back. Let's say it breaks a good pace when you see everyone leaving in front of you while you are managing some cramps.

Pretty frustrating to me 🤦🏻‍♂️

Nonetheless, the event itself was a great and the workout was awesome! Thanks to the whole organization that made this possible.
