Lacking of Motivation? I have your back!!
Hey Beautiful People! It’s summer: the weather is amazing, and we all want to stay outside as much as we can. We want to walk streets, eat ice creams and lay down to tan or just chill out.
I understand that even a 30 mins workout sounds impossible when you can be going to the pool or enjoy drinks with your friends.
But here is what I do when I feel I’m not being able to stay on track with my workouts:
- I take it easy and cut my trainings in half. Instead of quitting or not training at all, I workout 3 times per week while usually I used to workout 6 days a week.
- I make sure to walk everyday and reach my daily steps.
- I enjoy eating outside a LOT! So I make sure to stay mindful and eat more fruits and veggies in summer.
- I explore the streets or commute, if I can, using a bike (it’s fun, fast and you don’t have to worry about finding a parking spot)
- I plan my workout/run during the day. When you have a time slot for it, you will less likely skip it !
- I don’t over stress! Remember, last thing you want is stress. So, if you couldn’t make it today, it’s okay!!! No stress, you will make it tomorrow, and if you aren’t being able to make it at ALL then I bet you are enjoying your summer so so much so this is the best excuse you can have : create memories for now and worry about scheduling your workouts later (maybe when summer is over)
