🏏 PPL Annual Award Ceremony 2025 – A Night to Celebrate Our Cricket Family! 🎉

What an amazing evening! The PPL Annual Award Ceremony 2025 brought together our cricket community to celebrate another outstanding season filled with dedication, talent, and true sportsmanship.

✨ Season Highlights (2025):

70+ Teams competed across multiple divisions.

Over 350+ games played across 4 major GTA grounds.

Dozens of team and individual awards presented to recognize excellence.

A big shoutout to our umpires for their commitment throughout the season.

1,000+ youth and adults participated this year—relieving stress, enjoying the game, and reconnecting with the kid within themselves. PPL continues to play a meaningful role in supporting mental health and community well-being across the GTA.

Energetic atmosphere with great music, entertainment, and an amazing dinner spread.

🏏 PPL Annual Award Ceremony – A Night to Remember! 🎉

What an incredible evening! The PPL Annual Award Ceremony celebrated the achievements, memories, and spirit of cricket from a remarkable season.

✨ Season Highlights:

70 Teams played 330 games across 4 GTA grounds from May to September 2024.
Competitions across 7 divisions led to 14 team awards and 250 trophies distributed.
A huge thank you to the 7 umpires for their dedication throughout the season.

🏆 Event Highlights:

Awards recognized outstanding players, teams, and unforgettable moments.
Inspiring words from guest speaker Adam van Koeverden, MP for Milton and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Sports.
Special attendance by City Councillor Kenneth Mair.
Great food, music, and the chance to network with fellow cricket enthusiasts.

A huge thank you to all the teams who attended our Opening Ceremony today at Paul Palleschi Recreation Centre (Loafer’s Lake), Room 1 & 2. Your enthusiasm and dedication are what make this league so special. 🙌🎊

We hope you found the meeting informative and inspiring as we discussed important details for the season ahead. It was wonderful to see captains and representatives from each team coming together to kick off the cricket action in style. 🏏💼

🏏🌙 Exciting News: Our First-Ever Night Cricket Tournament was a Smash Hit! 🌙🏏

🌟 PPL proudly presents the FIRST-EVER Night Cricket Tournament in the Greater Toronto Area, featuring 12 incredible teams! 🌟

🌟🌟In Finals Gujarat Warriors won by 7 Wickets 🌟🌟

Over the course of two thrilling weeks, we witnessed some epic cricket battles under the moonlight, and it's all thanks to YOUR enthusiastic participation!

👏 We couldn't have done it without the passion and dedication of our cricket community. The energy, the sportsmanship, and the unforgettable moments were truly remarkable.

🌌 But guess what? We're just getting started! PPL is committed to bringing this unique cricket experience to both YOUTH and ADULT players alike. 🌌
