The Chatham Miramichi Honda Ironmen have themselves an import. Welcome to the river Jay!

The Chatham Ironmen are pleased to announce the signing of right-handed pitcher Jay Miller.
A 6’6” native of Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Miller brings valuable experience to the Ironmen roster. Miller started for three seasons for University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) before transferring to the University of Washington for his senior season. 2025 was his best season at the college level, striking out 69 batters in 55 innings pitched, with a 4.98 ERA.
Miller is expected to play a key role on the mound as the Ironmen continue their NBSBL season and prepare to host the upcoming national championships. He is expected to make his debut at some point next week.

In partnership with the Miramichi KIA Timberwolves, Inside The Den aims to bring you closer to your favorite Junior A hockey club. The show will feature content with your favorite players, coaches, front office staff and more!

The Miramichi KIA Timberwolves have announced their first big signing of the off-season. Welcome to the den Jacob!

The Miramichi Timberwolves are proud to announce the signing of forward Jacob De Carufel.

The 2008, Trois-Rivières, Québec native brings skill, compete, and offensive upside to the Timberwolves lineup. Jacob spent the last two seasons with the Norwich U18AAA scoring 139pts (49G 90A) in 116 games as well as wearing the “C” during the 2025-2026 season.

🔥Ironmen win!🔥 The Ironmen offense puts up 9 runs, which was more than enough for starter Julio Hernandez who goes 6 scoreless. Chatham travels to Saint John for a pair of games next Sunday.

Canes are at it again today looking to build on last night's W! Come up to MV and cheer em on!

The Miramichi Hericanes are back on their home court this afternoon as they host the 1st Place Halifax Thunder at the MVHS Gym with tipoff set for 1:00PM.

Miramichi enters the matchup fresh off a 75-66 win over the Truro Tidal Queens on Saturday night in front of a near capacity crowd. Halifax also enters on a winning note having beat the Moncton Mystics 85-79

The Thunder roll into Miramichi with an unbeaten record on the season. They possess a well balanced attack and are led by a highly talented core of Justine Colley-Leger 18.3ppg, Elizabeth Iseyemi 18.0ppg & Maddy White 13.5ppg. The last meeting between the Thunder & Hericanes was in the semifinals of the 2025 Pro Line Legacy Cup, which saw Miramichi defeat Halifax and eventually move on to claim the Championship.

🔥 On Sunday afternoon, Halftime entertainment will feature the incredible River Force Cheer Academy!
