Alright Race fans, now comes the Thunderstock Main at BUXTON SPEEDWAY !!
We made a couple small tweaks after our heats, and went on a small mission during intermission to give stickers to some young race fans. 🥰
Then we got back out there for the main. There was some great racing by some Buxton fan favourites, and we managed to keep just behind them in the pack. We placed 6th this weekend and had some fun doing it! 🏁

Hi everyone!! Here's a little recap of this weekend. We headed to BUXTON SPEEDWAY to Race this weekend. I'll start with our heat for the Thunderstocks. (I'm just gonna skip through all the craziness that started when we first got to the track ie; stupid wheel bearing on the trailer and a few minor changes to the car)
We did not too bad in our heat, we finished 3rd, but only 3 cars were left. A few of our good friends and pit neighbours had some car troubles and pulled them off to avoid more wear and tear. It was a good race without many cautions.

🏁 IT'S RACE DAY! 🏁

The Thompson Racing crew is loaded up and heading to the track! The car is ready, the helmet is strapped in, and we're looking forward to a great night of racing.

Thunderstock Feature from BUXTON SPEEDWAY on Saturday May 30th.

Well Thompson Racing Fans, we had quite the exciting weekend!
Saturday we raced at BUXTON SPEEDWAY and the Thunderstocks were up first.

We were racing in the second heat which had so many great competitors and friends. We managed to keep pretty close with the front of the pack for that race. (First video) We came in 3rd in the heat race.

Then in the main, the Thunderstock division saw 18 cars head to the track. Through the dust, near misses with the wall and one little kiss on that wall right at the end, we managed to get 6th!
The engine is just purring! We are going to make a few minor adjustments that should see us get a bit more bite in the corners to get around better. We have this car almost where she needs to be and we just can't wait to see what we can do next weekend! 🤘🏁
