And on an off day it might still land,
but here’s what I know now:

The cost of being yourself is
rubbing some people the wrong way.

But when you can let it land
and stay in your body anyway?

What used to knock you over
starts to just pass through.

And if the real you IS lil’ extra? 😉

That’s not performance.
That’s earned confidence 💋

Checking their phone
Rushing the bartender
Anything to distract themselves

Most people think confidence is about what you DO in moments like this, but it’s actually about how present you can be.

Because when you stay and let yourself feel without rushing or shutting down…

That’s when you become someone
worth being present for ✨

But when you simply notice where the embarrassment lives in your body and meet the cringe with presence instead of judgment, something unexpected happens…

it moves.

When it moves, you come back.

To the room.

To the conversation.

To yourself.

Come back to your body.
Come back to now.

Confidence isn’t never saying the wrong thing.

It’s knowing how to come back to yourself when you do. 💋

Where a 6-year-old Ruthie first called Canada “home,” in a small town ☃️ where she never quite fit in.

Her search for belonging led her to explore many sides of herself 🎭, some more true than others, each genuine in its own way. And even though that search took her to new shores 🇺🇸, she didn’t leave empty-handed…

She gained a deeper compassion for differences, learned the importance of being planted in the right soil 🪴, and ultimately discovered that true belonging is an inside job.
