Explore Well Now ↓ It is dedicated to educating and inspiring people to transform their lives, day by day, through a holistic approach that engages the "WHOLE" person: body, mind, soul, and spirit. It is our mission to help people live in freedom! We are n

ot about comparison or competition but COMPLETENESS. MOTTO: Transforming your life, day by day, moment by moment. It is our belief that when you make small, everyday lifestyle changes you can improve your overall well-being. Living well is a life-long process and we "become" well each day when we embrace those small, feasible changes that move us in the right direction towards wholeness and health. "Become" is a present tense verb and means "to begin to be" or "grow to be". This is an ever-present journey. We are always becoming! The time is NOW to start becoming your best version of you!! It is never too late to begin making changes in your life. Well Now Fitness operates on four foundational pillars of wellness. These include physical fitness, mental fitness, social fitness, and spiritual fitness. The World Health Organization defines health as a "state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." Good health is key to our living well and goes beyond our physical appearance. Improving one's wellness means reducing risk of disease while considering the many factors that affect the WHOLE person.

1. Physical Fitness
Regular physical activity is proven to help prevent and manage non-communicable diseases such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and several cancers. It also helps prevent hypertension, maintain healthy body weight and can improve mental health, quality of life and well-being. (World Health Organization)

However, your body needs more than movement alone. Nutrition, hydration, sleep, and rest are all necessary components of physical fitness.

2. Mental Fitness
Mental health is just as important as physical health, and it should not be neglected. This involves keeping your brain and emotional health in tip top shape. It will mean identifying, assessing and navigating through feelings that cause undue stress and anxiety. Interestingly, the more you move the body the more you help the mind. Physical activity increases the flow of oxygen to the brain. It also increases the amount of endorphins, the “feel good” chemical, in your brain. Studies have shown that engaging in vigorous physical workouts can help battle depression and promotes a more positive outlook on life. It aids in the management of stress which can cause physical and mental harm. Mental fitness also address our intellect. We are intellectual beings created with the capacity to learn and share knowledge. The more you challenge your brain the healthier it becomes! Learning is a life-long process and should continually be nourished by trying new things!

3. Social Fitness
We are social beings. We were made for relationship. Well Now Fitness values people and we are all about developing social networks. Social relationships create support systems that carry you through life’s struggles. We acknowledge that people thrive best when they are inter-dependent on each other rather being independent from each other. We are founded on the principle that we are all in this together. Everyone belongs here!! We do not compare or compete with others but cheer each other on in our journey to joy, freedom, and completeness!

4. Spiritual Fitness
We are also spiritual beings. Our physical bodies are evident, we can see and touch them. However, our souls and spirits are less distinguishable but non the less real to each one of us. The soul refers to our mind, will and desires as seen in our personal preferences, choices, and emotional responses to life's situations. Our soul is reflected in our personality. The spirit refers to that part of us that connects and communicates with God. Our spirit differs from our soul because our spirit is always pointed toward and exists exclusively for God, whereas our soul can be self-centered. The joy, comfort and peace of God's presence can only be experienced through our spirit. To deny the spirit is to live with less wholeness in your life. At Well Now Fitness spirituality is rooted in faith of God the Father, His Son, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. We operate on the premise that God has placed in each of us an innate desire to know Him. If we neglect this part of our being we will sense there is something missing in our lives and miss out on the wholeness that He longs to provide. Since He created us, He knows us best and knows what is good for us in every area of life, including health and wellness. In fact, as we integrate all parts of our lives to Him, we become complete and whole, healed and free! Then, we are able to live out His divine purposes with great joy. He has designed us each one uniquely and equips us to do whatever He calls us to do!! He brings true purpose and meaning to our lives.

🍂 RETURNING TO RHYTHMS
30 Days of Simple Steps to Live Well

September often brings that feeling that it’s time to get back into a routine.

But living well doesn’t have to mean changing everything at once.

Sometimes it simply begins with one small step.

So throughout September, I’m sharing one simple, doable challenge each day to help us build supportive rhythms for our whole-person wellness.

Each day will touch on a different part of living well — caring for your body, mind and spirit, strengthening your everyday rhythms, connecting with what matters, and making space for God in the midst of real life.

Nothing extreme. Just simple steps we can actually practice in real life.

🍂 Here’s how to follow along:

Watch for the daily Returning to Rhythms post and try that day’s challenge.

When you’ve completed it, drop a ✓ in the comments on that day’s post. It’s a simple way to keep yourself accountable and encourage others who are following along too.

I’ve also created a 30-day tracker if you’d like to save it to your phone or print a copy and check off your progress as we go.

September can bring a lot of pressure to get everything back on track.

But living well doesn't require you to overhaul your life.

Today, simply notice where you are and what you need.
Then choose one small way to support yourself.
That's where we're beginning. 🤍

The FIVE-DAY WELL NOW RESET may be over... but your journey is just beginning.

This week, let's keep the momentum going.

Real wellness isn't built in five days.
It's built in the ordinary moments that follow.

That's why we keep showing up.

One workout.
One walk.
One nourishing meal.
One good night's sleep.
One conversation.
One prayer.

Those small choices become the rhythms that shape our lives.

I'm excited for all that's ahead this September, and I'm grateful to walk alongside this community as we continue growing stronger together.

What's one rhythm you're committed to protecting this week?

SUNDAY INSPIRATION

Continue the journey!

A new month is just around the corner.

I always enjoy the quiet space between one month and the next.
It reminds me that life is full of fresh starts.

Not because the calendar changes...
but because every new season gives us another opportunity to live with greater intention.

You don't need a perfect plan.
You don't need more pressure.
You simply need a willingness to keep taking the next faithful step.

As we step into September together, my prayer is that we continue building lives marked by strength, wellness, and purpose—one ordinary day at a time.

Reflection
What is one intention you'd like to carry into this new season?

As we finish the Five-Day Well Now Reset today, I'm reminded once again that wellness isn't about getting everything right. It's about returning, again and again, to the rhythms that help us care for our whole person.

Over the past month we've explored together:

🧡Sleep Well - so we can restore.

🧡Move Well - so we can live with strength.

🧡Dwell Well - by creating spaces that support healthy rhythms.

🧡 Live With Purpose - allowing those daily rhythms to shape the life we're building.

Each rhythm matters on its own. But together they become more than healthy habits. They become a way of living that is grounded, practical, and full of hope.

Whether you joined us for the Reset this week or simply followed along here on Facebook, I hope you've been encouraged to take one small step toward caring for yourself with grace instead of pressure.

This isn't the end of the journey. It's simply another beginning.

Today's practice is enough.

Tomorrow offers another opportunity to live well.

THOUGHTFUL THURSDAY

One of the things that's encouraging me this week is watching women discover that wellness doesn't begin with a complete life overhaul.

It begins with one small decision.

One healthy meal.
One walk.
One earlier bedtime.
One quiet moment with God.

As we've been walking through the Five-Day Well Now Reset together, I've been reminded that we don't need to do everything perfectly.

We simply need to keep returning to the rhythms that help us live well.
That's where lasting change begins.

Not with pressure.
But with practice.
One day at a time.
